Barbra Streisand cloned her late dog

In a 2018 interview with Variety, the ‘Evergreen’ singer, 81, revealed that her love for her late dog Samantha was such, that she decided to clone her. Barbra explained that the result was two new puppies, named Miss Violet and Miss Scarlet, who had been cloned by using cells taken from Samantha’s stomach and mouth.

The music icon said: “[They] have different personalities. I’m waiting for them to get older so I can see if they have her brown eyes and her seriousness.”
