Beyoncé used to sleep with her snake

In a 2002 interview on Australian TV show ‘Rove Live’, Beyoncé, 41, was asked if it was true that she once had a pet snake.

The ‘Single Ladies’ hitmaker answered: “Oh yeah, Fendi. It was actually my cousin. We were roommates, it was her snake and, um, we shared a room so he became our snake and we had to get rid of it because my dad, he’s a big guy and you know, he’s really serious and he was terrified of this thing, so he was like, ‘Get the snake out of the house!’ and one day it got loose and we were looking for it so he was like, ‘When you find that snake it has got to go’. So, we opened the closet and it was hanging from the closet. It was crazy, so we had to get rid of it, but I loved the snake. We slept with the snake. It was a Python. A big, nice-size snake.”
