Using His Voice For Good

Over the years David Schwimmer has been an active voice for multiple causes.

In 2020, Schwimmer and his ex-wife showed support for the Black Lives Matter movement by marching together at the protest in New York, in wake of George Floyd’s death who was murdered because of police brutality.

Most recently Schwimmer became a voice for the Jewish population, warning about the about anti-Semitism and denounced rapper Kanye West after his anti-Semitic tweets.

He said: "Whether or not Kanye West is mentally ill, there's no question he is a bigot. His hate speech calls for violence against Jews. If you interpret his words any other way and defend him, guess what? You are racist. If we don't call someone as influential as Kanye out for his divisive, ignorant and anti-Semitic words then we are complicit."
