The ‘Friends’ star was 40 when he met 21-year-old British artist Zoe Buckman in 2007.

The couple dated for three years before tying the knot in a secret wedding ceremony in 2010.

After seven years together David and Zoe revealed they had split in a statement. David shares 11-year-old daughter Chloe with his ex-wife.

After finalising their divorce a year after the spit, David said: "I waited a long time to decide to marry. But I took it just as seriously – I would say even more so, because I waited to decide until I thought, ‘Right, I’m going to start this chapter of my life now, and see it through.’ But I wouldn’t say my experience [with divorce] was harder than anyone else’s.”

Before his marriage, David had dated pop star Natalie Imbruglia in the late 1990s.
