Hiroshima and Nagasaki

One Nostradamus quatrain predicted the atomic bombs that were detonated by the United States on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 at the end of World War II.

Nostradamus' text reads: “Within two cities, there will be scourges the like of which was never seen.”

It is believed it also references to the possible sickness experienced by those exposed to radiation, as it describes “famine within plague".
