After the success of the first series, actress Emma Myers is returning to screens as teenage sleuth Pip for a second season of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder.

New episodes are set to launch later this spring, the series, based on novels by Holly Jackson, with the show set to return on 27 May with a six-episode run.
Emma, 23, reprises her role as Pip, a schoolgirl turned investigator, following the fallout from the first season’s central case.
The new instalment also sees Zain Iqbal return as Ravi Singh, Pip’s love interest, as the pair navigate the aftermath of solving Andie Bell’s murder while the trial of Max Hastings, played by Henry Ashton, approaches.
A new mystery emerges when Jamie, played by Eden H Davies, disappears – prompting Pip to investigate.
The show will stream globally on Netflix, with distribution in the UK and Ireland on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer, and in Germany, Austria and Switzerland via ZDFneo.
Announcing the release date in a social media video, Emma said: “I’m feeling very nostalgic. This season has been really special to me and I’m so excited for everybody to see it.”
Emma is joined in the new series by Misia Butler, Jack Rowan and returning cast including Jude Morgan-Collie, who appears as Connor.
The second season adapts Bad Blood, the follow-up novel in Holly’s young adult mystery series, with screenwriter Poppy Cogan returning to write alongside Holly.
Holly said: “I am BEYOND thrilled that we can continue Pip’s story and, this time, I’m writing on the show! We owe everything to the dedicated fans, and I can’t wait to reunite with my ‘AGGGTM’ family!”
The production is led by Moonage Pictures, part of ITV Studios, in co-production with Netflix and ZDFneo. Global sales are handled by BBC Studios.
