King Edward VIII

King George VI’s brother and Wallis Simpson’s husband, who famously abdicated, died on May 28, 1972, at the age of 77, of natural causes.

King Edward VIII was buried in the Royal Burial Ground, at Frogmore, after his funeral service had taken place at St. George’s Chapel.
