Queen Elizabeth II

Queen Elizabeth II died on September 8, 2022 at the age of 96.

Elizabeth was born on April 21, 1926, and became the British monarch after her father King George VI’s death on 6 February, 1952 aged 56.

The queen's state funeral was watched by an estimated TV audience of 4.1 billion and was attended by leaders from across the globe, including US President Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
