Princess Diana and Freddie Mercury

Princess Diana and Freddie Mercury had a close relationship and reportedly enjoyed an amazing night out together. In her book 'The Power of Positive Drinking', the comedy actress Cleo Rocos recalled a night she spent with the famous duo. After deciding to go to the gay club Royal Vauxhall Tavern, the group agreed on dressing Diana up as a man, so she could enter unnoticed. Rocos wrote: “We were nudging each other like naughty schoolchildren. Diana and Freddie were giggling... Once the transaction was completed, we looked at one another, united in our triumphant quest. We did it!”
