Kenny Goss

George's longest relationship was with then sportswear executive Kenny Goss, whom he met in 1996.

George was still not out to the world at that point so the relationship - and his sexuality - only became public knowledge after he was arrested for "performing a lewd act in public" in 1998.

The couple were set to enter a civil partnership in 2005, but plans fizzled out and George admitted that the relationship had been over for more than two years, with Kenny blaming it on George's substance abuse problems.
