When George was 19, he described himself as bisexual to bandmate Andrew and he was soon in a relationship with model Kathy Jeung. (pictured) . At the time, he regarded her as a muse and she appeared in the music video if 'I Want Your Sex'.

George - who decades later came out to the world as gay - dated Kathy for two years and called her his "only bona fide" girlfriend. When George died from heart disease on Christmas Day in 2016, she said: "I spent some of the best times of my life with George - I can barely encompass in words what George means to me."
