Hollywood comedy icon Steve Martin has been living with tinnitus and noise-induced hearing loss since 1986.

The Only Murders in the Building star developed the condition following a loud, unprotected special-effects gunfight scene on the set of the western comedy film Three Amigos.

Discussing how he has adapted over the decades, Martin revealed a remarkably positive mindset, saying: "You just get used to it. It becomes your natural background noise."
