Johnny Depp

He has spent decades defining cinematic cool behind tinted frames, but Johnny Depp has revealed that he is legally blind in his left eye.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor confessed that his asymmetrical vision has been present since birth, leaving him "blind as a bat" on one side and intensely short-sighted on the other.

Depp noted that when he plays characters who don't wear glasses, his operational vision is severely limited, stating he can only see "a few inches from my face".
