George Lazenby

The retired Australian actor, who portrayed 007 in the 1969 film On Her Majesty's Secret Service, tipped his compatriot Liam Hemsworth to succeed Craig in 2023.

Lazenby, 87, claimed that The Hunger Games star fits the bill to play Bond – including being a "good-looking Aussie dude".

He added that the next Bond would have to be "crazy enough, arrogant enough, confident enough, ambitious enough to take on the role" after Craig.
