The lifestyle queen does not tolerate Hollywood royalty stepping onto her neatly manicured turf. When Gwyneth launched Goop, Martha viewed her as a lifestyle sinner trying to copy her recipe for success. Stewart explicitly told Porter Magazine in their September 2014 issue that Paltrow needed to back off: "She just needs to be quiet. She's a movie star. If she were confident in her acting, she wouldn't be trying to be Martha Stewart." Gwyneth fired right back, subtly mocking Martha's past legal troubles by publishing a "Jailbird Cake" recipe later that month.
