Whoopi Goldberg

The View co-host and EGOT winner Whoopi Goldberg became the target of a widespread social media scam when cybercriminals cloned her image to create deceptive advertisements. The artificial intelligence videos falsely showed Goldberg endorsing a breakthrough weight-loss supplement on Instagram. Goldberg stopped the broadcast of her live daytime talk show to clear her name directly to the cameras and warn the public.

Goldberg stated firmly: "I am not selling any weight loss drugs. I have no connection to the advertisement. Please do not indulge in this, do not look at this, or fall for it."
