Media mogul Oprah Winfrey fell victim to a coordinated deepfake campaign alongside broadcaster Piers Morgan, where malicious users cloned their likenesses for a weight-loss product scam. Oprah has regularly warned her audience about unauthorised digital endorsements, previously stating: "Somebody is using my name and my likeness ... Do not give them your money. It is a fraud, it is a scam, it is a fake."
