Shad Gaspard

WWE fans were devastated in May 2020 by the news that Shad Gaspard had died aged 39.

The wrestler, who rose to fame in the 2000s as a member of the Cryme Tyme team with JTG, drowned while trying to save his young son from a rip current.

Two years after his death, he was honoured posthumously with the 2022 Warrior Award at the WWE Hall of Fame.

Before wrestling, he worked as a bodyguard for celebrities like Britney Spears and Mike Tyson.
