At 11:15 PM, while stopped at a red light at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Koval Lane, a white Cadillac pulled up alongside them.

An occupant inside the vehicle suddenly opened fire into the passenger side of the BMW, striking Tupac four times in the chest and hand.
