Memoir revelations

Earlier this year, Panettiere released her memoir This Is Me: A Reckoning – in which she addressed her child stardom, addiction and the grief she felt following the sudden death of her brother Jansen at the age of 28 in 2023.

She also came out as bisexual in the book and confessed that she was saddened to have had to wait so long to "share that part" of herself.

Panettiere told Us Weekly: "That's something about me I was never able to share with the world, because it was just never the right time.

"It was either I was too young, and I was being forced to be perfect at all times. I was not encouraged to just be myself."
