Acting as a baby

Hayden Panettiere began her entertainment career at just 11 months old, appearing in a commercial for a Playskool toy train.

She quickly moved into television, landing roles including Sarah Roberts on soap opera One Life to Live as a child before playing Lizzie Spaulding on the CBS soap Guiding Light from 1996 to 2000.

She is pictured here as Chan Walsh in the 2005 movie Racing Stripes.
