The King of Rock 'n' Roll experienced stage fright during his career and it is claimed that his famous 'hip swing' came about because he was shaking with nerves before one of his early live performances.

The Jailhouse Rock artist once said: "The first time that I appeared on stage, it scared me to death. I really didn't know what all the yelling was about.

"I didn't realise that my body was moving. It's a natural thing to me."
