Justin Bieber brings out a ballad

Ted Lasso and Coach Beard were on hand to bring on super sub Justin Bieber.

Perhaps Bieber didn't realise the point of the half-time show was to generate Super Bowl-esque excitement.

Instead of performing one of his pop bangers, Bieber chose to sing acoustic ballad Everything Hallelujah' to a muted response.

He did change the lyrics to "World Cup hallelujah" so he was aware of where he was playing.
