Wanda Sykes

The Emmy Award-winning comedian is a breast cancer survivor who was diagnosed with Stage 0 ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) in 2011. Following her diagnosis, which was discovered during a routine breast reduction surgery, she opted for a bilateral (double) mastectomy to prevent the cancer from spreading. She is currently cancer-free and an active advocate for early screening.
