Cynthia Nixon

Nixon, famous for her role as Miranda Hobbes on Sex and the City, is a breast cancer survivor having been diagnosed in 2006 at age 40 during a routine mammogram. She underwent a lumpectomy and radiation, keeping it private initially. As a survivor with a family history, she has since become a vocal advocate for early detection.
