Jessie revealed that she broke her toe towards the end of shooting on the recently-released gothic picture The Bride! but felt that the injury actually helped her portrayal of the Bride of Frankenstein in some ways.

She said: "It was just so swollen, but that's also fun.

"And I'm meant to have one leg shorter than the other anyway, so it probably helped."
