So long, farewell

Rene died on January 14, 2016, at the age of 73, following a long battle with throat cancer.

His state funeral took place at Notre-Dame Basilica in Montreal on January 22 that year.

Celine, Rene-Charles, Eddy and Nelson were in attendance, along with more than 2,000 other people.
