The youngest of 14 children slept in a drawer as an infant

Celine was the youngest of 14 children and, as a baby, she slept in a drawer.

She recalled: "My mother was brilliant enough to put a pillow in a drawer for a baby to sleep in. We were safe and warm and taken care of."

As she got older, Celine shared a bed with three or four of her sisters.
