Robert Pattinson is best known as the brooding vampire Edward Cullen from ‘Twilight’.

In the 2008 movie, Bella Stewart’s (Kristen Stewart) life is turned upside down when she falls in love with a mysterious classmate - who turns out to be a century-old vampire battling his thirst for her blood.

Although Pattinson has Edward Cullen to thank for the career he has today, the actor wasn’t much of a fan of the character.

He said, “The more I read the script, the more I hated this guy, so that’s how I played him, as a manic-depressive who hates himself.”
