‘I’m going to marry that one - the posh one’

David has been married to Victoria Beckham since 1999, and together they have become one of the most recognisable couples globally.

He was first drawn to her after she attended one of his matches, and it didn’t take long for him to set his sights on winning her over.

Recalling the moment, he said: “‘See that one there? I’m going to marry that one.’ And we were laughing and joking, and I’m like, ‘No, I’m going to marry that one - the posh one, in the black dress.’”
