Ben Affleck

Ben Affleck has certainly had his fair share of superhero roles, and the actor has now seemingly had enough of the genre.

Affleck had starred as the titualar Marvel hero in 2003’s ‘Daredevil’ and had appeared in the DC Expanded Universe as Batman from 2016’s ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ to ‘The Flash’ in 2023, though the actor has now admitted he has “lost interest” in making any more superhero blockbusters.

He explained: “There are a number of reasons why that [playing Batman] was a really excruciating experience. And they don’t all have to do with the simple dynamic of, say, being in a superhero movie or whatever.

“I am not interested in going down that particular genre again, not because of that bad experience, but just: I’ve lost interest in what was of interest about it to me.”
