Wicked: For Good - 21 November
With 'Wicked' still dominating theatres, its sequel 'Wicked: For Good' is also set to be a smash at the box office when it is released later this year.
The Jon M. Chu musical movie will pick up after the events of 'Wicked', which concluded after Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo) chose to leave Glinda (Ariana Grande) behind once she discovered the Wizard of Oz (Jeff Goldblum) and Madame Morrible (Michelle Yeoh) want to use her powers to further their insidious cause against the animals.
The film will also see the return of Ethan Slater as Boq, Marissa Bode as Nessarose and Jonathan Bailey as Prince Fiyero, with the latter teasing there would be a major "tonal shift" in the flick.
He said: "I think we understand the world and how it works (now).
"I'm really excited for the tonal shift. The world gets heavier and more complicated and there's just that pumping sense of hope and joy and resilience and all the things we love about Elphaba's journey that I can't wait for."
