Screeching into cinemas next is the Brad Pitt racing movie 'F1'.

The film stars the 61-year-old actor as Formula 1 veteran Sonny Hayes, who returns to the grid with his rookie APXGP teammate Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris) to take on the new titans of the sport.

Seven-time Formula 1 world champion Sir Lewis Hamilton is serving as a producer on the Joseph Kosinski picture, with the legendary driver helping Idris to steer during racing scenes.

The 'Snowfall' actor said: "It's unlike anyone has ever seen before, we are driving the cars for real.

"He lets us know that wouldn't happen, which is a rarity in this art form. Like I said, it's a fictional story, so to have someone who lives, breathes and sleeps F1, we are in no better hands."
