David Huddleston

The late actor - who passed away in 2016 aged 85 following a long health struggle - played the title role in the 1985 movie ‘Santa Claus: The Movie’.

It tells the origin of Santa Claus and follows one of his elves (Dudley Moore) as he attempts to employ his toymaking methods on his own under the watchful eye of unscrupulous businessman B.Z (John Lithgow).

Although the film initially received negative reviews, it has since become a beloved festive classic in subsequent years.
