Charli's first words on Brat

In one of her early interviews about the record, the 'Apple' hitmaker set the scene, dubbing the LP "one for the girls who like to party and sweat and rave.”

The pop star also admitted she felt the dance songs were her "best" to date - and she wasn't wrong.

She told NME: "It’s kind of bitchy and gossipy and hardcore and very club feeling."
