A global superstar

When the record was released worldwide the following year, Liam and his 1D bandmates became the first UK group to top the US charts with their debut album.

They band became global stars, appearing on talk shows and touring the world, with albums 'Take Me Home', 'Midnight Memories' and 'Four' topping the charts around the world.

Their final album, 2015's 'Made in the A.M.' came in at number two in the US, but was a number one record in the likes of the UK, Belgium and Ireland.
