The former ‘CHiPs’ star took his on-screen persona and made it into a real life once when he took up a post with St Anthony Police Department in Idaho helping them tackle online child predators via the Safe Surfin’ Foundation after also taking part in ‘Armed and Famous’.

After fulfilling his childhood dream, Erik - who played a motorcycle police officer in 'CHiPs' - wrote on Twitter in 2016: "OK I'm now a police officer with the ST ANTHONY POLICE DEPT.”
