Oasis and Blur's legendary rivalry peaked with their famous Battle of Britpop chart battle in 1995.

'Country House' by Blur beat the Oasis track 'Roll With It' to top the charts which led to Noel remarked that he hoped the Daman Albarn-fronted band "catch AIDS and die".

He later retracted the comment and suggested that he was on drugs when he made it.
