The 'Princess Diaries' actress took on the role of tragic Fantine in the 2012 Hollywood adaptation of the musical 'Les Miserables' and had her long brown hair chopped off live on set to convincingly portray the moment when her character sells her locks out of desperation to feed her daughter. The 'Catwoman' star later said: "I’ve now done backflips out of windows. I’ve jumped off buildings. And cutting my hair reduced me to like mental patient-level crying. I was inconsolable!"
