The 2003 flick sees Hugh Jackman dawn the claws once more in an attempt to stop the anti-mutant Colonel William Stryker (Brian Cox) from wiping out Professor Xavier’s (Sir Patrick Stewart) school.

‘X2: X-Men United’ proved to audiences that the actor was the stand-out star of Twentieth Century Fox’s Marvel universe, who would go on to single-handedly carry the franchise on his back for years to come.
