Shannen went on Dancing With Stars for her father

The ‘Heathers’ star was partnered with Mark Ballas on the tenth season of the ABC ballroom competition to make her dad John - who died a few months later aged 66 after suffering a stroke - proud as he was a big fan of the show.

The pair were the second couple to be eliminated from that 2010 series after performing only a Viennese waltz and a jive.
