Jessica Alba
Jessica Alba started her acting career early - appearing in 1994’s ‘Camp Nowhere’ when she was 13 years old - and believes the job is not for her children.
The ‘Fantastic Four’ star - who has daughters Honor, 16, and Haven, 12, as well as son Hayes, six - said she felt her success in Hollywood should allow her children to have the “opportunities” she never did.
She explained: “I was a child actor and it worked for me, given the circumstances I was in, but I'm lucky enough to give [my children] a completely different life and an education that I never had the opportunity to have. When they're done with college, if they want to get into the arts, that's fine. I think you will be a better artist the more life experience you have, but I wouldn't encourage them to work in this type of environment as children.”
