Before Scarlett Johansson was cast as Black Widow in ‘Iron Man 2’, the part was offered to Emily Blunt, though she turned it down due to scheduling conflicts.

Since then, the actress seems to have changed her tune on the superhero genre as she bemoaned its dominance of the big and small screen.

She said: "We are inundated. It's not only all the movies, it's the endless TV shows as well."
