Reese Witherspoon previously admitted she wasn’t too fussed about starring in “giant robot” flicks like Marvel films.

She once said: "That doesn’t interest me too much. And there's not a part for a 34-year-old woman in a robot movie."

Despite voicing her disinterest in the genre, Reese was very impressed by Brie Larson’s ‘Captain Marvel’ when it was released in 2019.
