While he has appeared in Amazon Prime’s superhero show ‘The Boys’, Simon Pegg is “not in any rush to join the MCU”.

The actor explained he wanted to do “more sort of grown up stuff in the future” and he also doesn't want to be restricted to a lengthy Marvel contract that could prevent other work coming his way.

He said: “I kind of feel like I kind of want to be a bit more free.

“You join those things and then you're tied to them for years and that can be a little bit restrictive.”
