Hollywood breakthrough
Megan made her film debut in 'Holiday in the Sun' in 2001 opposite Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen before being cast opposite Lindsay Lohan in 'Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen' in 2004. But it was in 2007 when she landed the role of Mikaela Banes in 2007's 'Transformers' that things really kicked off. Despite the role bringing her instant fame, she insisted that she wasn't about to go in search of a crazy Hollywood lifestyle because it "didn't appeal" to her at all.
She said: " I avoid that completely. It just doesn’t appeal to me at all. I see what it does to people. A, I don’t like going to clubs like that because I’m not looking to hook up with somebody so why am I going to go and dance around tables if that’s not what I’m looking for - that kind of attention."
