Bucks Fizz - Making Your Mind Up

Still as popular as ever is Bucks Fizz’s ‘Making Your Mind Up’.

Bobby G, Cheryl Baker, Mike Nolan and Jay Aston were brought together as the group Bucks Fizz in January 1981 specifically to perform the single at Eurovision.

Although this tactic seems like a recipe for disaster, the song and group were both a huge hit and the UK won that year. However, we will never know how much of this success was thanks to the accompanying dance routine, which became famous for the moment where the girls' skirts are ripped off halfway through to reveal shorter skirts underneath.
