Deleted sub-plot

Just two weeks before post-production ended, Sonnenfeld realised he had made the film a difficult watch by overstuffing it with different sub-plots.

The director opted to remove the story about the Arquilian war with the Baltian, though that proved to be a bit of an issue.

Barry and his editing team had to painstakingly trawl through the film to remove all of the dialogue and scenes related to the sub-plot without making the film's story completely nonsensical.

Thankfully, through some careful cuts, editing and re-recording of dialogue, the sub-plot was completely removed.
