Michael Keaton was up for Venkman

Michael Keaton and Chevy Chase were considered for the part of Peter Venkman.

The role was created for John Belushi, who sadly passed away whilst they were still penning the screenplay.

All these years later, we can't imagine anyone but Bill Murray in the role!
