Mel Gibson
The 'Passion of the Christ' star recently praised "generous and kind" Robert Downey Jr. for speaking up for him after he was "blacklisted" by Hollywood.
The 'Iron Man' star called for the crowd in attendance when Mel handed him the American Cinematheque Award in 2011 to "forgive" his pal for his past antisemitic outburst.
He asked the audience to join him “unless you are completely without sin, in which case you picked the wrong industry, in forgiving my friend his trespasses, offering the same clean slate you have me, and allowing him to continue his great and ongoing contributions to our collective art without shame.”
